Configuration of Windows Server machine(s) as directed by the client.
I have been using Windows Server for a long time. Some features of Microsoft SQL Server require a Windows Server license to work properly.
To be honest, I’m not even sure if the SQL Server tandard Edition c0uld be installed on a client OS like ‘Windows 10’. Back in 1999, that is how I was introduced to Microsoft SQL Server. I was working at a company called UltraBac.com and we had been training towards the MCSE Certification. We were taught by a Microsoft MVP named ‘Paul Bunn’. Paul taught us a LOT about Windows NT and Windows 2000 operating systems. I had a lot of fun learning in that role.
Back in 1999, I decided that I didn’t want to have my desktop running into a limitations on the # of connections I could have.
